Okay...so as you can see, most people say yes and the others say ..no. Well, horoscopes are partly true, but the other part depends on your personality, which meant that it don't always work. I mean horoscopes might be wrong because some pple's personalities are different with different genes, etc. That's why people think that horoscopes are wrong. You get my point, yeah? Today people use horoscopes for fun and entertainment (thts why yahoo! put the horoscope thing in the entertainment category, hah!) bt i still believe that it's true. But don't believe in it too much, cuz sometimes it can let you down.

Yes, horoscopes are accurate. Only most people don't understand how they really work. You might notice that you are different from others who have the same sun sign as you. The reason for that is because the position of the other planets, and the moon at the time you were born were different from theirs. It's all very mathematical. Different planets have different gravitational pull, and therefore have a different effect on each part of our brain (and body). Think of how the moon moves the tides............well we are comprised mostly of water so isn't it likely that these celestial bodies would have some (perhaps miniscule) gravitational pull on our brain. I have been studying medical astrology and have found it to be extremely accurate.
You can email me and I'd be more than happy to do your chart if you'd like. The information I'd need is as follows: Date, time, and place that you were born. I need the place you were born so I can get the latitude and longitide for accuracy.

Though I am an athiest Hindu, I had reasons to check the validity of astrology and predictions. Here is my take on it.
(1) Astrologers prepare the chart of the orientation of this universe at the time of one's birth. They denote this particular alignment of celestial bodies by noting down the positions of some of the main identifiable stars and planets.
A person is conceived 9 months before his/her actual birth. But a persons' mind takes the full control of the body only at the time of birth. Hence it may be valid to note down the orientation of the universe at the time of a persons birth.
(2) It may be possible that the orientation of the universe at the time when the mind took the full control of the body or "came in to being" has a bearing on how it will behave in a different orientation of the universe.
(3) After observing and generalizing for millenniums it may be possible to find out how certain changes from the original positions may affect a person's rational mind and his actions and predict things. But it may be noted that even if you predict accurately, a person still has the power to change how things will occur, not only based on his intellect, but also on a lot of other external surroundings
(4) Hence to conclude, there can be some scientific validity in astrology and predictions.
It is like this, looking at a number of gadgets, I see that some are made by Sony and are made in Japan and are made during winter time in Japan. My observation and experience tells me, these gadgets should work well. But it is quite possible that one of the employees of Sony in Japan, during that particular winter time was not up to the mark and has done some mistakes.

Of course horoscopes really work. I don't know anything about you, but I have this absolutely true and perfect horoscope for you:
"This day will bring nothing new to you, but it also will not upset you with anything. Your weakness now is new and interesting things for your pet kumquat. A difference in taste makes reupholstering the llama inadvisable now. Ostriches don’t snore. The ascent of Venus into Taurus will instill you with a sense of adventure and the desire to dress broccoli in little plaid bibs. Adorn yourself with cabbage and sing opera at your next business meeting. A flock of melons will litter your yard with bits of twine and used duct tape. All is not lost; you just don’t know where to find it."

No. I think it is general to everyone. If blind folded you fire 100 rounds at a wall, you will no doubt hit the wall somewhere out of the 100 rounds.
Same thing with horoscopes. Read them, but don't live your life by them. I have a few coworkers who completely live the day by their horoscope.

Horoscopes do not work. You could get better predictions by reading the veining in a chunk of blue Stilton cheese

No, if they come true its purely a coincidence or you believe it so much that it gives youself some extra belief.
Basically some lady just writes some bs that is supposedly what she has seen in the stars.
