I think all uk citezans should put in a claim for post traumatic stress during the past two years we have been threatened with birdflu, terrorist attacks ,killer flu and now radiation.
Would it work ???

Why not? Good idea! We seem to be getting a 'claim compensating' country. But i'd just go for something easy, like, tripping over the fresh air, or having someone call me a name, maybe even give me a 'funny' look, Yeah! Thats it. I'll be rich soon, i'm bound to win. Everyone else seems to.

I wish we could, but I suppose we'll have to make do with kicking them out at the next general election. It's a pity general elections don't come round more often.

no it wouldnt work because the government (officially) dont cause the examples you have mentioned. Nations cause problems and governments deal with them.
they also deal with them as direct representatives of the voting people, i.e. us, so if you were to sue anyone, it would have to be yourself.
