No way. Give another team a chance. That game has already been played, and Ohio won handily, even though the score was close, the game was never close.

If USC loses, and if Florida wins, then Florida should get to play OSU for the national title. Besides, Florida in my opinion, has the toughest schedule of any college team thjis year, and if they beat Arkansas, they would by far be the best choice for OSU's opponent. If Michigan's schedule was strong, I would think about giving them a second shot. Their schedule, however, was far from strong. Their only tough opponent was OSU. And they cannot talk about their wins over Penn St and Iowa, because both team ended up losing fours games during the season.

If USC loses, Michigan or SEC Champion-Florida should play Ohio State. I don't really care which one. How would I know which would provide a better game? I resist the temptation to speak out on who should be in the championship game. That's someone else's job.
I doubt USC will lose, though. But I'm a few years older than most of the players out there, so I hope they see the opportunity they have. Getting in the championship game brings much dough to the conference. I'm kind of tired of seeing USC in the championship every year, too.

My preference is that Florida (providing they handle Arkansas) play Ohio State. I think they deserve the opportunity even though they won against my LSU Tigers. They have proven themselves champions. You're probably right about a re-match though. I don't think it will be as close as the previous game. Michigan will whip y'all soundly this time. I'm sure they have learned to be more disciplined which was the cause for their loss the first time.

No. I want a playoff system. Let Florida play OSU and Michigan play USC, then have the winners play. Pretty simple really.

i would like to see a rematch and you are right it would not be as close as the last matchup because it is on neutral field and both teams have a sense of what the othet has for strengths and weaknesses. if there is a rematch, michigan wins this time.
