A republican senator was giving his view on why illegal immigration must be stopped, then the protesters raided the area and pulled a fire alarm. Then they started to call the senator racist, and started to attack some people who protested their protest. Freedom of speech, I think not.

As someone who has there liberal side and Conservative side, but who will also vote against anyone who would help bush. I don't think its right to interfere with freedom of speech, I have been at a Gore Rally before where they bussed in a busload of kids with bull horns to interfere with that speech, while you have the right to protest, the people who organized the speech also have the right to hear what there person was saying, ON BOTH SIDES, that's what makes this country so great, doesn't it. The protesters of that speech should have to wait untill afterwards to voice there opinions. I also DO NOT agree with, that for the first time in history the inauguration parade for Bushes 2nd term was by invite only (true story), protesters were not allowed (that's should be open for both sides) On the immigration issue, how many people think they are going to build a 700 mile fence, FALSE, they already passed a bill saying it wont happen, the first bill was basically saying they will consider it, On July 13, 2006, with much less fanfare, the Senate voted 71-29 not to appropriate money to build that fence.
I will post links if you like, There are many many more republicans who gain much more with the cheap labor, Just think its all talk, I think if people just showed just a LITTLE bit of intelligence, and looked at both sides of the story with an open mind and thought process of what if this was true view point from the other side, we could get rid of both the left and right extremist.

PS: I have 2 step kids at MSU

No doubt and good question,Yet another example of how TOLERANT liberals are to someone with another view.Same thing at Columbia with the minute men,Do you ever hear Republicans acting that way when there is a Liberal speaker somewhere? No, they show respect and are TOLERANT and let the person speak.Liberals are freaks..

I think that their reaction was juvenile; all views should be heard out and proper debate given. Their immature reactions simply made the senator look good and gave him more ammunition.

Liberals would appreciate the protest, but I know other
people who did not. The Senator's Freedom of Speech
was violated and he should bring charges against the
commies who were responsible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Liberals are doing away with Freedom of Speech.
But they are mad because people can't talk to terrorists on the phone without being wiretapped.
