Iraqi's do not not want a puppet regime imposed on them by the USA, if there was democracy in Iraq there would be an Islamic government which would be naturally reject American interference.
The US. doesn't want to allow Democracy in Iraq, but the Iraqi people will never allow the puppet regime to stay in power.
Iraqi's are far more concerned with the killing and violence that has erupted since the Americans came.
The polls of Iraqi people show that 70% want the US. to leave within a year, but you can be certain that the majority in this "democracy" will be ignored.

There is no democracy but mobocracy in Iraq! The dictor there is awaiting execution. Well, the present chaotic situation will eventually lead to a full-blown civil war, as was felt on Day-1 of the invasion of Iraq by American and allied forces. But this country of warriors will produce another Sadam Hussain sooner or later, after spilling blood there like the Missippi river, including that of many more American soldiers!

I would want Democracy. Since I would have a chance to vote for a person that would be a good leader. I'd never want a dictatorship, since most dictators only think of themselves.

I don`t think any one of us could truly honestly answere that being we have lived knowing freedom. All they have known is a dictatorship. That would drastically change your frame of thinking. Seems like they would be more apt to give up because the dream would seem unreal to them. The thought of a democracy in Iraq seems kind of unreal to me for the fact even if it happend it would seem to be a constant battle to keep. To many terrorist and CRAZY people over there that would want to over throw the government. To much room for corruption out of fear.

You only have to remember that in this world you have people who respond to lies, people who respond to logical thinking and people who respond best to fear of not being submissive, the former president did what worked best for the people he was in charge of, he may have been a little to aggressive in his actions but i think we all can see why he did it, ask your self who has been more effective in controlling the problems their??? and he did it with less personnel than we seem to need, we have no right to be their ,and our family's should not pay the price for our governments stupidity and arrogance for the sake of oil control. truly'

It was better under Saddam. He understood his people. Now you know why so many were killed under him. They can't live in a democracy.
We should concentrate on having a democracy in this country, something we are losing under this administration.
