I can't believe the rubbish answers you've had to this question. OF COURSE you can't put the damn things in washing machines and wash at 90 degrees....!!!! They would warp every which way - and be ruined.
The easiest way to clean then is in the bath, with a warm soak in bicarbonate of soda. It doesn't harm them, removes all grease and marrks - and they come up as white as you bought them. A quick swish is all thats needed and you can then simply let the water out and stand them on end for a few minutes to drip dry.

not really recommended,if there the cloth ones, there is a solution you can buy, again the local B&Q that you simply spray on leave for short while, and sponge off,ive got the same blinds all i do every six months, etc take down, remove all, place flat down, simply good ponge little sopy water and clean, the material,is made for this and stronger then you think, allthough i wouldnt recommend the washing machine, give it some elbow grease, and burn a few calories, hope this helps :)

Try this cloth. You have to buy in packages of 5 but they are only like $3 bucks a piece. I have ordered them and use them on everything, especially windows. They are made out of tiny fibers that work like razor blades. They are guaranteed not to scratch and all you do is rinse the cloth under water, wring it out and wipe ANY surface with no streaks or scratch. Use em over and over. I have not thrown one away yet!
I even waxed my car with it! I am sold on this ...I encourage you to try it out.

you can put them in washing machine on delicate in a pillow tied up with a bobble or something i little bit of soappowder and comfort to stop static attracting as much dust in the future.
as soon as the cycle is finished take them out and hang them back up on the windows wet the creases will all drop out and they smell lovely too.
