My neighbor told me of this unique solution.

Get a 5 gallon bucket, wire and a pop can. Drill a hole in both sides of the pop can at the middle of the can and string the wire through the can.

Drill holes in the top side of the bucket on both sides and string the wire through the holes.

Put a good sticky peanut butter on the can top and bottom.

Use a board to create a ramp to the top of the bucket.

Put water in the bucket.

The mice will smell the peanutbutter and jump for it. Their weight will make the can turn, dumping them into the water where they will dround.

The neighbor claims his friend caught over 50 mice in one night with this contraption.

If it is too cold for water you could try just using a large wastebacket. I have found dead mice in wastebaskets. They must not be able to jump over a foot or so and cannot escape.

You will likely find live mice using this approach.

get ALOT of cats. Also put the feed in a plastic container with a tight lid and clean up all the loose feed around on the floor. If there is nothing for them to eat they will move on and the cats should help while they are making their decision.

Traps work and bait it with whatever they're eating. As for cats, not all are good mousers, Terriers are good mousers.
Snakes, some horses have fear of them. I'd just try different types of traps all at once and be leery of how you are storing your feed.

Years ago my Grandma had the same problem. She simply went to the local animal shelter,And requested two or three outdoor cats,Grown cats not kittens. And if you feed them they will stick around. And slowly but most definetly for certain they will take care of your mouse problem.

your best bet would be cats and or traps baited with some horse feed or cheese. you will have to continue to reset the traps and wait because if you have that many you will not be able to catch them all at once.

The best way is to get some cats. You can use poison but if you have a lot of them it would be costly.

mouse traps.... use peanuts... squeeze into the trip spot where most people use cheese. the mice have to dig for the peanut and it trips the trap.

Be Blessed!
