Once a vinyl record is warped, that's it. The warp is a physical distortion, and any means used to get rid of the warp will make it worse. Sorry!

Hmmm vinyl warped? Did someone make it into a flower-pot? If so you need to employ the Toll-Grimberg technique:
1. Take potted plant out of the vessel it has become
2. Put on at least three pairs of tracksuit bottoms
3. Dance around the room for at least 30 mins until your butt is really hot
4. Hover your rear over the said vessel (which you should have placed on a flat surface) and when directly over it sit down firmly
5. Wiggle your hot cheeks until you feel the disc flatten
6. Hey presto, the disc will be as good as new.

This is risky, so if you enjoy the music don't do it, but increase the weight on the top of the arm to give increased pressure and prevent the warped record from jumping.

If you still have the sleeve, try putting it on a flat surface with a bunch of books on top of it and let it sit for a week or so...this used to work for me. If you have a barbell weight this could be used too.

it's a little hard to fix it yourself. there may still be places that can fix it for you, but it's a bit pricy, so make sure it's worth it. congratulations on still listening to vinyl. rock on.
