Well Mazen means a cloud filled with rain. Mehdi is someone who knows the truth or something like that. Good luck choosing. But if you're not Arabic, why would you want to call your boy (in the future)an Arabic name. That is if your aren't. No problem though. Take care.

well I kinda like both but since it's a multiple choice to get the name you really want I would go with Mazin, beacuse people will tease him with Mehdi (medicine, medic, stuff like that) don't get me wrong they all find a way to tease them anyways. Good Luck with this.

The name Mazin (Mazen) is arabic in origin and it means "Gods blessing". The name Mehdi is not the correct spelling. The name is spelled Mahdi and it too is Arabic in origin and it means "the guided one". I know this because my son's dad is a Muslim man and he named our son Kadin (kah-deen) which is Arabic and means "best friend" ...

To answer your question because of the pronunciation of Mahdi (mah-dee) I like it better than Mazin (mah-zeen).. I bet that you thought that they were pronounced medy and mayzin didn't ya! lol.... good luck I hope this helped!!!
