Anytime that you have actually inherited or won or are being refunded money of any kind, you will receive actually mailed notification delivered to your home. Any e-mail or telephone call saying this is a fraud. FIRST notification of monies owed to you will always be delivered to your home or office.

Delete those emails fast. It's a scam. You could also report it as abuse, spam mail. Your choice.

Report it to the Attorney general and see if it is real. IF not don't go from your computer if you want to seeif it is real. MOst likely it is spam trying to identify you exist to steal your information.

Is it called freelotto? If it is, they will want you to fill up a form and ask for your credit card details. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD DETAILS. Just delete the damn thing, or if you want to test them send them an email in return saying, "please send me my winnings by check.
I repeat, DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD DETAILS.
