Your phone must be compliant to certain standards. Then get MP3 ringtone Gold program for like 20 bucks. I have it and it's awsome. Link at the bottom.

Your provider should be able to provide you with an upgraded phone for a very reasonalbe price. It sounds like your phone is old. Save it as a museum piece or donate it to your local police station so they can give it to a family in need.

You may need to get a new phone. If your phone is pretty old theres no upgrading... Just ditch it and get a new better one!

idk about Verizon phones (sorry), but i do know that with cingular phones (which will prolly work for Verizon phones), you can go onto their website to get a music ring tone. It will just send you a text message to download the song....and its gives you directions for there. try it out ! good luck !
