Use a little bit of vegetable oil on a cloth -- or use some cooking spray. Let it sit for just a minute and then rub off -- it works like magic!!

Depending what type of adhesive it is, some will come off with rubbing alchol, some with cooking oil. If one doesn't work try the other.

Try a product called "De-Solv-It". It is great for removing adhesive. You can find it in the household cleaners section at your local retailer.

Try this cloth. You have to buy in packages of 5 but they are only like $3 bucks a piece. I have ordered them and use them on everything, especially windows. They are made out of tiny fibers that work like razor blades. They are guaranteed not to scratch and all you do is rinse the cloth under water, wring it out and wipe ANY surface with no streaks or scratch. Use em over and over. I have not thrown one away yet!
I even waxed my car with it! I am sold on this ...I encourage you to try it out.

Avon Skin of Soft will melt the adhesive off anything and not do any harm. I keep it all the time.

Believe it or not what works really well is using a pencil eraser, peel off as much tape as possible then use the eraser.
