in a situation where you come to know that you have begun your period and you do not have sanitary napkins or tampoons(when you are at school or college)
where do you keep your spare sanitary napkin? when you are in school or at work.

well at school you could keep them in your back pack or in your purse. and at work in your purse. but if you use tampons like ob that are small you can keep one in your pocket and no one knows its there.

It's not an embarrassing thing to have your period. Most women have them, so I think it's quite natural to have sanitary supplies to be prepared where ever you go. Keep at least 1 in your purse, or wallet. O.B is really the best for size to keep, cuz they're so small.

Universities and high schools usually have dispensers in the washrooms don't they? I always carry something in my purse. Even if its in my purse the whole month, I know its there and I don't have to worry about that, if it happens.
But why the embarrassment? It is a totally natural thing.

I always keep a spare in my purse, but go see your school's nurse. They usually have them, just in case, and don't be embarrased! If it is a woman, she will understand. Besides that, you won't be the first person to have asked!!!

women are understanding and usually very helpful.
if i can't do that, i would explain to my superior that i have to go, *now*....and why. it's a natural thing you can't help.
either hook me up with a pad or tampon, or let me go home real fast and take care of it myself..
call someone if you can.
