I've already bought a Christmas present for my brother, but I would like to include a small present along with it. I thought that an iTunes Gift Card might make a good gift. I see he uses iTunes on his laptop and plays music. However, I don't think he downloads his songs from there, rather he's playing songs from his CDs. Should I still give it to him? If so, why? Many thanks.

I've tried Limewire but it isn't that good. In iTunes, you can find anything from songs to videos to movies. Limewire too but the videos and movies there are bad quality and they take a really really long time to download.

I believe this would be a great compliment to any gift! He may only listen to his Cd's now, but with the itunes gift card he can download single songs he likes. Itunes is also good for finding those songs that you cant find Cd's of anymore! Plus, the music and movies on Itunes are high quality. They aren't like some of the pirated stuff off p2p clients(such as limewire).

Yeah that is a good idea but he can also download songs for free on limewire. I have and I haven't had to pay one cent.

Hey! I use iTunes too but also don't download my tracks with it. If you're still having second thoughts after reading all these answers, I could give you my address, so you send it over. How 'bout that???

Well, you're now giving him the opportunity to download songs he wants without going to the store. Kudos to you, and unless your brother is a spoiled ingrate, he should be quite pleased, or at least just pleased.

I go with the others...yes, I think it's great! Like they said, he can download exactly what he wants.

Besides, if he doesn't like it he can send it to me :-) J/K

Good job...very thoughtful.

Merry Christmas!
