Yes... one can mould ones destiny but understand the meaning and concept of destiny first-
The destiny of a human being is fixed or variable. Can the control of destiny be exercised by one! Is it possible for a normal human being to take complete control of his destiny? Is it possible to manifest destiny?
Yes! It is possible to manifest destiny if you are able to understand the crux of life. The destiny of every human being rests with one. It is like a chest of gold the key of which is not immediately made available to us. Only having passed certain standards in life would the key become available to us?
To be able to manifest our own destiny there are some requisites fulfilling which one shall be able to manifest his own destiny? The moment one enters the domain of human life... the highest manifest stage in the cosmic life... one can reach the stage of enlightenment and finally salvation. Before that we need to take control of our destiny in totality. How?
Before we indulge further in the matter of destiny... we need to understand the reality of life!
The garb of a human being has been taken by our soul atman within. It is not vice versa. It is not within the competence of a body to inherit a soul atman within. That is just not possible. Our soul atman within has taken the body to purify itself of all the impurities contained within. Unless and until our soul atman is devoid of all the dross within... it can never become enlightened and gain salvation.
The goal of life belongs to our soul atman within. The body only does its bidding! It is only when the body sublimates itself entirely at the disposal of the atman soul within... can the body manifest destiny. The ego of the body has to be merged with the larger ego... the ego of God Almighty. Unless the body completely surrenders its ego and merges with the larger whole... the body can never manifest destiny.
Having realized the truth of life... submerging our ego with that of Almighty God... one does manifest destiny for ever. It is at this point our soul atman becomes governing. The ego of a human being having merged completely with the desires of the soul atman within... the soul atman becomes free to reach its goal at the earliest.
As long as the ego of a human being is dominating... the destiny eludes us forever. We must always remember that it is our soul atman within on its cosmic journey and not the body. The fruits of the karma always belong to our soul atman within. The fruits of the karma performed by us never belong to the body.
If we desire to manifest destiny then we need to perform the karma in a fashion that the journey by the soul atman within gets shortened. The body always has to abide by the dictates of the soul atman within. If we try to hear the sweet small voice coming from within our heart... the voice of our soul atman within... then we shall find that it always guides us on the right path. As defined, fate is your unchangeable future. For that reason you can't change your fate. In doing something different than you may have (compared, say, to past choices) you are simply arriving at the predetermined fate toward which you were already headed. Making a "new" or "different" choice or decision is/was part of the path you were already on, or taking.
In truth, no one can truly know their (future) "fate" since the series of circumstances, events and choices that lead to each of our "nows" is far too complex to (exactly) predict from some time before "now" arrives.
In a way, "fate" is where you find yourself right NOW. Until a person can travel in time (impossible at this point) there is no way to change what is happening (or has happened) right now.
Of course, it is possible to make choices that lead to a better (future) situation. Then again, the good choices we make now may lead to unpredictable disaster as well. All we can do is use our judgment and experience to make the make the best choices we can. To make good choices takes knowledge and wisdom. No one makes the best decision every time. Enjoy the ride, otherwise.

People who say they "can't get it" usually just aren't being patient enough -- especially if they are in the United States.
Don't have education? Then check out student grants and loans -- and enroll. Don't have good pay? Shop around for a new job -- or see above regarding education. Don't have a solid girlfriend or wife? Then start attending services at your nearest house of worship -- or find a group activity that you enjoy. Prospective Significant Others are always there -- you just need to know how and where to look.
A man can indeed change his fate. Be persistent. But most of all, be patient. You can achieve anything, given enough time and hard work.

All said and done, the fact is that none of us gets everything aimed for and worked for ...... no exception to this rule!
It is up to us how we interpret our failures. One way to look at it is to believe that our want and effort were not keen enough and proper enough to achieve the desired result. It is, however, almost impossible to find out post facto all the shortcomings that caused the failure. One can simply believe that there must have been shortcomings to cause the failure.
The other is to assume that what is fated can not be deleted or altered. Then the belief would be that no matter whatever I might have done whichever way, the failure would have been unavoidable.
In the former type of belief, one takes the responsibility for the failure, but in the latter type, one tries to escape the responsibility. Just the question of attitude, the fact of failure does neither change nor cease to occur.

I think determination of a man can change his fate, with internet and a crap-load of resources, you can do almost anything.
However, I've been taught that "fate" or God already has a set out plan... so really you wouldn't be changing your fate.
It may seem like you're escaping some bad situation to become some powerful, influencal person... but what if God already decided you were to be influencial? Does that mean that you weren't actually changing your fate at all, but you merely had the allusion that you were changing your course of life? And in the end you were following that divine plan.
On the other hand, if you live a crappy life filled with drugs and all that evil stuff, then you decide to shoot yourself and your family... does that mean that God or "fate" decided you were to die that way? Therefore, doesn't that mean that God himself was the rider of malice who decided your abrupt and painful end?
But the Bible says God is so good and gives us free will. That's something that really confuses me. So, therefore I suppose that we only have the illusion of free will, and the illusion of the ability to change our fate... or do we? (uh oh! paradox lolz)

In the first place there is no such thing as fate! When a person is born into this world he/she brings along the past karma, and also it is the past karma that determine the place, time and family he/she be born into.
In this present life a person can determine his own' fate' by his good or bad deeds!

No,man cant change his fate on any circumstances,it is fate who decides wether u to live or die,
Xample:If someone were to suffer the person would suffer,as it has been written in his destiny.
If something dreadful were to happen to u tomorrow(no offence)like if u were to die tomorrow u would die and u cant do nothing bout it.so it's rather better not to think bout ur fate cause what's gonna happen is gonna happen and just take life as it comes.

well in the past determination has been the cause of some tremendous things as well as fate changing so if history repeats itself perhaps it just boils down to the man at hand.

Can he? That depends on other factors. If you believe in a preordained destiny then, no, you cannot change your destiny. If you believe you are bound for greatness, then the answer is maybe.
You can change your perception to the point where you think your average existence is, in fact, the greatness you have been seeking. Or you could try to improve your situation.

Your fate is in your hands
I think we all change our fate with every decision we make but we have no knowledge of what we have changed it to
We don't have full control but we are changing it all the time. Life is full of surprises, I hope the next one round your corner is a good one!!
