...that in this country a woman can be prosecuted four drug use during pregnancy, because of the harm that use does to the fetus, but she is legally allowed to kill it/him/her.

(Then smoke herself pie-eyed and go out and get knocked up again, probably, and hit YOU up for yet another clinic bill)

Seems just a TINY bit inconsistent to me.

Welcome to the "insanity" of life!

Yup. It's completely friggin nuts. Of course, I am prolife, so I think that she should be prosecuted for drug use during pregnancy and there should never be the choice to destroy a living human, no matter how small or insignificant or unformed they are. There are plenty of children (and adults) that aren't fully developed, but we don't go around shooting them. They deserve a crack at life just as much as the rest of us.

there is a difference between choosing not to continue a pregnancy and deliberately causing that child to be born and live with disabilities for the rest of "its life" not the mothers, how ever long it may be.

after all its only 9 months the mother needs to behave out of a lifetime thats not much to ask for

Yes, and one doctor will operate on a fetus in vetro in order to save it's life, while another somewhere else is stabbing one in the brain to kill it by abortion. I lawmakers need to make up their minds once and for all. Are we human while in the womb? Or our we not? I'm glad someone decided I was.

While I certainly agree that legalized killing has sadly come into existence, I don't know what drugs you're referring to.

As nutty as a prisoner on death row being placed on a suicide watch: to prevent him from killing himself, so the State can have the pleasure of putting him to death.

maybe it's not easy making a law that fits all rationality and satisfy all people and reasonably applicable to situations....
