Really, every auto repair shop sort of charges differently. I would say around 300-the very most 675.

Depends on the shop. Most shops will charge you a hefty price because it is a major repair. I would say around $500 to $800. But make you sure that you find a reputable shop. Fixing it once and paying a little more is better than fixing it twice and ending up paying the same amount.

And after putting $1,000 into that 15 year old car what will you have? Wouldn't you look good driving around in a 2007 Honda Accord? Bigger better milage safer air bags how could you go wrong?

I don't know the price, but I do know that it would depend on if it is just the gasket that needs replacing. if the engine has overheated too much the head may either need replacing or machining. If it is warped and they can machine it, it will be HEAPS cheaper than replacing the whole thing. It also depends on how much your mechanic charges for labour.

Hopefully its just the gasket and it shouldn't be too costly for you

A quality repair will cost you around $800..that should include having the head reworked... Or you could spend xxxxx amount on another car.... no matter how you look at it no one rides for free... I say if the rest of your car is in good shape get the engine repaired....

It depends on how many Km's are on the engine. Is it worth fixing? Is it the right or left side? It could be up to $1,000. It also depends on what Province you're in to find a value on your car.
It may be worth $500-$1,000. So is it worth fixing?
