It's the End of the World as we know it...
When did you think the world population would annihilate itself... i.e. bring about the End of the World... 2012! Yes... 2012 would announce the End of the World as it is today.
Imagine as of now... a world without computers and mobiles... what shall be the shape of the world to come... would it not mean the end of the world!
End of the world is not merely a saying; its implications would vary from place to place and country to country. Nostradamus predicted the End of the World in 1994, 1998 and also 2012. Why?
If the End of the World did not occur in 1998, it was merely because the entire population of the world sensing the impending danger of the world war engrossed itself in massive prayers... this led to the delaying of the End of the World as it is today!
Every passing day brings us nearer to End of the World. Why?
Even a layman can understand the catastrophe human beings are landing themselves in because of the breaking down of the family and the moral values in daily life. Literally the human beings as of today find indulgence in materialistic tendencies as humorous and entertaining.
The happenings in Iraq and Afghanistan are a testimony to this absolute truth. The end of the world shall accompany with itself a fight to the finish between Christianity and Islam.
End of the World is imminent for the trust between various countries, religions and castes is coming to an end. The faith lost shall only lead us towards the End of the World. There is no escape for the upheaval of the society is not possible without a looming World War 3.
Every revolution... every sacrifice carries with it the seed of the oncoming golden era. As of today when the manifest science is at its peak... in a short while from now and around 2012 we shall witness the End of the World... the most ghastly event that the humanity as of today shall face.
Who shall survive this End of the World phenomenon? Everyone... nay every human being for that matter who has a positive balance of Karma shall survive. One may witness a missile exploding at a short distance... the gods will shall save us from experiencing the rigors of the holocaust. Everyone with Punya Karma (positive balance of Karma) in balance shall experience a win-win situation.
End of the World Prediction by Nostradamus and others astrologers is purely based upon the balance of Karma of the total mankind at any given point of time. When the End of the World shall be can be assessed with fair accuracy as of now.
The End of the World does not mean a doom for the mankind... it shall only be a revival of the cherished golden values in the society. After the End of the World occurrence... the society shall again start from the basics... with no science to support initially... the mankind shall as stated by Einstein begin life as man had experienced it during the Stone Age.
The balance of Karma of the total humanity as of today indicates the looming danger around 2012. Every Era (Yuga) indicates the arrival of a Sanatana Purusha (manifest god himself)... one who is much above the level of man gods like Mahavira, Buddha, Jesus Christ and Prophet Mohammed.
This true son of god... imbibed with godly powers shall be able to scale the barriers that separates the societies and the countries all over the globe. He shall completely overall the existing social and moral values of the society which result in the End of the World predictions.
One who carries with him the conviction of Napoleon Bonaparte, the bulldog determination of the Winston Churchill, the humility which formed part of Mahatma Gandhi, the compassion of Buddha, the persistence which forms part of every Indian, and the flawless dedication for mankind as experienced in Madame Curie... all the powers combined shall be the forte of the representative of God the Almighty on mother earth.
One who shall uplift the values of the society back to their pedestal and bring back the society from the rigors of End of the World and usher it into a new era... One who delivers the mankind from the presently existing ills...? Sri Kalki Bhagavan... who shall he be? More on end of the world here- http://www.godrealized.org/end_of_the_world.html

I think the overcrowding of the planet isnt so bad yet. People with a bit of imagination can remedy that... Imagine Royale caribbean- but Apartments! There is a lot more water than land on the earth. Terrorism is an age old problem. Terrorists are just getting more creative and its easier now than in the past to target people.
The gloabl warming issue is admittedly the one that worries me the most. But there ARE things the government can do to help IF they would only do it. More must be done to cars of the future and aircraft of the future. Forests must be replenished and instead of tearing them down to build more housing- look the the oceans to provide that needed space for growth. But now ONE person is going to make the changes need. The governments must make these changes and invest the money to make it happen. They wont do it though.... not until people start cooking like ants under magnifying glasses and lowlying areas are totally submerged under water. Sadly enough... I think thats how it will be.

All those religious fanatics make me sick. I heard that in some places in the Middle East, they give kids guns and make violent chants to destroy the West. And all this freaking Osama and terrorist stuff. I have a feeling humanity is going to have a nice, painful end.
Um... I'd give it maybe 30 years. Before I used to say "I wanna live to 112"... but now I regret that. I don't think I wanna stay around that long for the planet to overpopulate and explode with war.
The sound of heaven and second coming is sounding pretty nice right now. Better than getting nuked by some crazy Jihad fanatics.

It will most likely be an accidental nuclear launch by one of the two bulls in the glass shop, not the rogue states or middle east rump states we've been hearing about in the news. Consider the following:
Oct. 27, 1962 - a Soviet submarine officer named Vasili Alexandrovich Arkhipov reportedly refused to comply with the launth of a nuclear warhead while apparently under attack by a U.S. warship near Cuba. In order to initiate such an attack, Soviet naval procedures stated that the captain and two other officers muyst concur. The other officer on duty agreed to the launch, but Arkhipov conviced the captain to wait for instructions from Moscow before proceeding.
October 24, 1973, as the Yom Kippur War was winding down, a Soviet threat to intervene on Egypt's behalf caused the United States to go to DEFCON 3.
November 9 ,1979, when the US made emergency retaliation preparations after NORAD saw on-screen indications that a full-scale Soviet attack had been launched. Early warning radar systems confirmed no such launch had taken place. A computer system test had caused the display errors and caused the absolute panic at NORAD.
Sept 26, 1983 Colonel Stanislav Petrov had 2-3 minutes to respond to 5 incoming nuclear warheads from the US according to his early warning system alarms. Against protocols, he did not push the button and did not notify his superiors, who would have most probably launched a counter-attack. The "rocket launches" were later found to be sun rays bouncing off of high altitude clouds.
Nov 1983, the USSR mistook a test of NATO's nuclear-release procdures as a fake cover for a NATA attack and subsequently raised its nuclear alert level. It wasn't till afterwrd that the US realized how close it had come to nuclear war.
Jan. 25, 1995 - Russia almost launched a nuclear attack after a Norwegian missile launch for scientific research was detected from Spitsbergen and thought to be an attack on Russia, launched five minutes from Moscow. For the first time in history the Soviat briefcase is activated.
One of the more publicized U.S. false alarms took place in November 1979. A technician at NORAD -- the North American Air Defense Command -- accidentally placed a training tape into the main systems at NORAD's Cheyenne Mountain Complex in Colorado. That mistake made NORAD's early warning system computer think the United States was undergoing a massive Soviet missile attack -- and it responded by alerting NORAD officials.
Within minutes, they realized the error. The incident was one of five missile warning system failures that took place over an eight-month period between 1979 and 1980. It also prompted a government reassessment of NORAD and its operations.

If human beings were to be more powerful than nature, it would perhaps have ended long ago. Just as human power is limited to create, so is it incapable of ending it all whether consciously or otherwise.
Nature has its way to counter destructive trends and rejuvenate. This is what is the principle of grand balance and therefore we need not be overly arrogant in believing that we can destroy it all.
One possibility is that human beings will turn around in near future to make up for and redress all the follies of the past.......... and if that happens, that too would be due to the invisible machinations of nature governed by the grand principle of balance!!
So, I believe that rather than worry over it, we need to get wise and change our ways....... not because the world is in peril, rather due to the possibility that we would perish even as the world would merrily go on with cockroaches ruling all over!!

It's just hysteria for now, things aren't as bad as they seem. Humanity will figure something out, it always does. It may be that we have to nuke a few lesser countries or it may be a more humane answer, but either way, it'll be done. I think we'll run out of food before anything else. I agree with Stephen Hawkins, we need to colonize another planet in order to survive.

Global warming is just one of the ways in which Mother Earth is rebelling.Oh, but she has so much more in store for us. Just you wait and see. Religion won't save anybody.
However, I don't think it will be the end of mankind, but it will drastically change the way people are now.
The Bible is full of wonderful metaphor and symbolism. What do you think is the moral of the story of Noah's Ark?

i dont know how & when it's gonna end.
but i do hope everything ends when humanity finally finds their true purpose of existence. It would be sad if we just vanish with no significance at all. Like dying with an unresolved business.
