I would say dont go with maybeline because its a cheap department store brand.
If youre looking for something you can just find in a department store, I would go with Rimmel London Extreme Definition Ultimate Lash-Separating Mascara, I own it and it has a different kind of brush that seems to avoid clumping. Its about 7 dollars.
However if youre looking for a real mascara that you buy at like Sephora, get Urban Decay Skyscraper Mascara. Its expensive, but its a good brand, so there will be minimum clumping and because its specially made for lengthening, it will definetely do so. Its about 16 dollars.

Girl, Prettybabi was right about the Maybelline Mascara in the pink and green bottle, but that would be my second choice to use. I ABSOLUTELY love L'Oreal's Voluminous Mascara in the Blackest of Black. I have long eyelashes but when I put two coats of that mascara on, my eyelashes are twice as long. I have people ask me all the time (even my beautician and she know me) if these are my lashes. It doesn't clump, my lashes come out thick and long, and it's not that expensive. It's like $5.99, but worth it. But if you're not wanting to pay that, then the second best choice would be the Maybelline Blackest Black in the pink and green tube. It's doesn't give off the same results, but close enough to it. Good luck.....

Hi,
I have personally tried everything when it comes to mascara and mostly all of them clump so I know what you are going through. However, I found something that truly works and my lashes look unbelievably long and silky.
Lancome Definicils.
I have tried all the drug store brands and some department store brands too, but this is truly the best. It may cost you a bit more, but it lasts a while. It will be the last mascara you ever buy.

They have a new one out it's called LashExact which is really great, I like the brush, it's made by Covergirl and not to expensive
but like all Cosmetic Companies they all changed the formula, even the expensive ones, so that you need to buy a new one every few months. This one is working great for about 3 months now and started just to clump but it thickens as well as lenghtening. For eyebrows, I use NYC, New York Colors, its a clear cream with a powder, you dip the brush into the cream and then the powder, its covers your brows, shapes them and makes them look thicker, they have different shades. I have just found it and I like it a lot, its cheap and the best thing for my sparse brows. Takes a few tries to get used to but its worth the effort. I bought blonde and it covers great, shapes the brows and actually makes them sit where you want them to.
I have used Mascara from Clarins, Lancome, Clinique, Elizabeth Arden, Chanel and Dior, Mac and they're all the same now. Don't spend too much money on it.

Hey! Here are some recommendations for ya- I use the Maybelline mascaras in the pink bottle. The color is Blackest Black. Or try the new mascara from Cover Girl called Lash Exact. It's the one in the purple bottle thing and has a little purple brush. It works well-does not clump and neither does the Maybelline one. The prices are right too. Get them anywhere -wal-mart target walgreens kmart...any drugstore

i do not placed on mascara anymore, yet I hear CoverGirl LashBlash works amazingly properly. large Lash Mascara by Maybelline became actually one of my previous favourites, although the comb became thanks to small and weren't adequate bristles, which brought about clumping. i'd recommend the hot large Lash Mascara huge because it has a better brush. I extensively utilized to love outline-A-Lash mascara from Maybelline, because it seperated and lengthened all lashes, even the very small ones.

M.A.C is amazing. It lengthens and thickens but also helps lashes grow on they're on. My eyelashes are an inch and a half longer then they used to be. I love it.
It's expensive but it's so worth it. M.A.C mascara makes your eyes pop.

I think Cil a Ci mascara by Chanel is good in that respect. It is pricey, but it does the trick for me. I think it's like $21 or something. Also try Loreal. Their stuff is really really good for the price. Voluminous is good but they also have some that are just for lengthening...

well Mary Kay has real good mascara, it does not clump and it will help lengthen and thicken your lashes, and it is about what the stores charge for name brands, but better
