When Do You Think The World Will End And When Will The The Sun Blow Up?

I think the sun will blow up (which means the The world is gonna end) is in about 5 billion years. Scinetist have a theory that says the sun is about 5 billion years old and is gonna die out in 5 more billion years!

Well,it depends if you believe the Science Fiction Movies,the Cranks,or the Scientists.Point A:Science Fiction Movies.According to the world-famous genre,there are two main ways for Earth to go....by alien or by natural disaster.As we all know,aliens from outer space have KILLER rent for their home planets,so they are looking for some real cheap real estate.And smack bang in the middle of the Solar System,there is.Get rid of the pests with high-tech wizardry(btw,the pests are us),then walla!Earth is destroyed.Or,follow Jake Gyllenhaal on his WAY overboard class trip to the National Library.Or,according to the cranks,the world always ends tomorrow......strange thought isnt it?One of these days they might get it right.BUt seriously,our Sun WONT blow up,much to the disappointment of the science fiction buffs out there.Our Sun is actually considered as a lightweight category compared to others out there.If it was above the average of,out of 5,say 3,the Sun's mass would have become too big for itself,causing the inevitable blow-up into a supernova,followed by a degradation to a black hole or a pulsar.As our Sun is BELOW 3,it will expand to a red giant.Think of it this way;in the same way that our stomachs bloat up when we run out of gas,the Sun will expand dramatically when it runs out of fuel,sort of like a last resort to stay alive.FOrtunately,this will stop just short of earth,but the temperature of the Red Giant will cook our poor,soft bodies like eggs.Along with those skyscrapers,etc,etc,etc.In a nutshell,the whole world goes poof.Of course,if we manage to survive the fire after jumping out of the pan,we can feel the cooler side of the Sun when it falls in on itself to form a red or white dwarf star.Ultra dense and quite cool,it's perfect to chill to about -200 plus degrees after that searing 4-figure degrees.Talk about weather changes......

In a couple billion years the sun would become a red giant before turning into a white dwarf star. When it happens the earth and the inner planets would be incinerated. How ever our sun is a mainstream star and they do not blow up such as supernovas.
