I am Cheltenham born and bred and still live in the town. The following famous people are fellow Cheltonians:-
Brian Jones - Founder of and guitarist in The Rolling Stones. Buried in Cheltenham cemetery.
Kate Thornton - TV presenter, she was one year below me at secondary school. She used to try and 'mess up' my spiky hair.
Jaz Coleman - Lead singer of Killing Joke.
Martin Jarvis - Actor, 'Forsyte Saga' and sit-com 'Rings On Their Fingers'. Occasionally on 'Countdown'.
Sir Ralph Richardson - Classic actor.
Edward Wilson - Explorer, died at the South Pole with Robert Scott.

Well - Jesse James and Edgar Allen Poe had passed through, spent the night at an old Stage Coach house in Jacksonville, Arkansas many years ago. Technically when they left, they came from my home town..... OKAY! I'M FUDGING HERE.., but its true.., stop looking at me that way **sniffles** I'm a man naught an aminule.... wit uh berry dood imagginationimum.
