Don't you know they love you?
Don't you know they care?
Can't you see that if they lost you-
Oh but to say so they wouldn't dare?
But all the while they leave you.
Worried you stay strong.
You call and write whenever you can.
But still they worry on.
You want them to come home.
But you know it won't be true.
It's called their job.
This you know, a clue.
But sometimes you wish it wasn't.
That their time you didn't share.
But you know they love you.
And you know they care.
Soon they'll come home.
And hold you in their arms.
And then you shall be happy.
And out of way of harm.
So be alittle patient.
And have alittle hope.
For deployment isn't long.
Not at all- Never- Nope!
