Ahhgh.

Which is better; drinking pus from a leaky colander, or sipping tadpoles through a straw?

I'll go with the tadpoles. Labyrinth is better.

The Goonies is probably as close as you can get to a perfect kids/family movie. The Labyrinth is wonderfully made but simply not as enjoyable as the good old Goonies.

I prefer Labyrinth, because of the songs, but I still really like The Goonies!

The Goonies if only for Mouths 'translation' of the mothers instructions.

e.g.
Mrs Walsh: Pants and shirts go in the... oh, forget about it. Just throw everything into cardboard boxes. Clark, can you really translate all that?

Mouth: For sure, Mrs. Walsh.

Mouth:(in Spanish)The marajuana goes in the top drawer. The cocaine and speed go in the second drawer. And the heroin goes in the bottom drawer. Always separate the drugs.

Labyrinth (which I do like) is just not as fun.

The goonies. But the music is pretty cool in the labyrinth. I saw my baby, crying hard as babes can cry!

Labrinth was poo. The only good thing about it was the Escher maze thing at the end. What with David Bowie playing with his glass balls and singing every two minutes.. it was a real let down. Plus the wierd baby in the stripey 'where's wally' storyline.. Goonies wins hands down!
