I mean is it healthy to expose the baby's bottles to the microven rays?

Microwave radiation is harmless. right now your body is being bombarded with microwaves. The only reason the microwaves would be harmful would be if the child were in the oven at the time. And lets face it that's just bad parenting.

It's perfectly safe to sterilize washed bottles in microwave sterilizers. You just never want to put a baby's bottle in the microwave to warm it up. The microwave can cause hot spots in the the milk and can kill the vital proteins in breastmilk and formula. The best way to heat a bottle is in a bottle warmer or run under hot water.

I used Madela microwave bags to sterilized my breastfeeding pump parts and bottles. They worked great.

OU COME ON I CANT BELIEVE SOME PEOPLE ACTUALLY SAY ITS BAD-HOW MANY KIDS HAVE THEY BEEN AROUND -YEAH IT IS PERFECTLY FINE UNLESS YOU ARE ONE OF THESE SILLY OVER PROTECTIVE MUMS THAT ACTUALLY HAVENT HOT A CLUE ABOUT GOOD PARENTING BUT `JUST KNOW` THEY ARE MEANT TO HAVE NO LESS THAN 3 KIDS- THEY CLAIM THIS AFTER JUST GIVING BIRTH TO THEIR FIRST BABY WHO IS A FANTASTIC SLEEPER AS THEY KNOW- THE MATERNITY NURSE SAYS AND OF COURSE ONCE SHE LEFT THAT'S WHAT THE NIGHT NANNY SAID TOO.

no, you should not microwave your babies bottles. Warm them up under running hot water.

If you use a steriliser that has been manufactured to be used in micorwave ovens, it's fine.
