auctions now closed and i don't know what else to do its just been sitting around the house it was on when i looked at it but once i got it home about a week later i opened it to find i couldn't do anything

If you're talking about the bios password, you'll have to get to the setup battery to reset bios back to default. It it's the Windows password, it will be easiest to install a new OS. Wiping out 2000 partitions can be a little tricky. I had to get a special utility to get rid of their special, hidden boot sector partition.

you try using Windows XP bootable CD which operates from CD rom and delete the .txt file in windows which stores user names and passowrd for windows 2000 on yours HDD

restart your pc. After the boot scrren ( Black demonstrate with writing ) save tapping F8. A demonstrate with ideas will teach. opt for probability-free mode and hit enter. once its complete you may want to be able to log into the administrator account.
