If you have used an Ouiji board, did anything bad happen? Please share your experiences.

Yeah I messed with one a couple of times, well for one, I think everyone was messing with the triangle thingie, making it move....for another I think it's bull....BUT THEN again, the second time I messed with a ougi board, we kept hearing things, stove blew up for no reason...scared the shittlins out of us all...I WILL not mess with one anymore, after watchin a movie on tv true story old old movie, done in the early 70s late 80s about a lady that messed with one, became possessed. Plus I look at it in a spititual form too...IF you belive in God, you dont need to go to a BOARD for answers....you are just messin with nothing but the devil, and inviting bad things to you.

Me and a friend did. We filmed it as well so we could look at it afterwards. The glass moved a little bit and circled around the table, but in my opinion it was us that were moving it but not knowing it. Its all down to the sub-conscious. You put someone in that situation and get them feeling the mood of the board, one person is going to start moving it without realising. Once one person starts, everyone starts, but no-one realises. Its like when the glass spins in a circle, you end up following a circle with your finger. Something good to watch would be Derren Browns Halloween Special where he uses a Oujii board, as well as many other "spooky" ghost calling methods, and proves them false.
The weird thing about the ouijji board was that afterwards, my friends camera wouldnt work, he had to go and buy a new battery for it as the battery was completly messed up. Very strange. We got to watch it after that.

I am a 48 year old ,world traveled,educated,and very open-minded woman.I used a Ouiji board in college.I believe in real angels and I have seen spirits.I truly believe with all my heart that these boards are bad news and do lead to evil.I may be wrong,but based on my personal experiences,I don't believe I am.

yes. It was tragic. Me and gramps were playing one dark rainy day. I can still remember the time 543. You see it was about10 years ago and i was 13 and it was my birthday. I was finally a teenager. Gramps got me a ouiji board without my parents knowing. We ran in the basement to play it for a while until my parents got home. It was really working i was asking it all these questions and it was getting them right. My parents called to say that they woulf be a few more hours. Gramps fell asleep, and a few minutes later as did i. I wake up to this earsplitting sound. In my eyesight was the board floating in air and then hit gramps in the neck. I lost my bestfriend that day. :( My advise dont use them . I swear it wasnt a dream.

Yes, I did, and yes, bad things happened. A ouija board, from a scientific point of view, isn't a way to contact the dead. It's a way to contact the deepest darkest places in our subconsious minds. Sometimes those places can come up with some pretty weird and sometimes very scary personas.
A ouija board, from a spiritual point of view, puts us in contact with the spirit world, and there are a few things you should know before contacting the spirit world:
1) They are all LIARS!
2) They can't spell.
3) They are incredibly immature.
No self-respecting spirit would go near a ouija board any more than any self-respecting adult would go into a gang-infested park in the middle of the night to answer a ringing payphone. Give it up!

Spent my entire childhood playing with them.. We used to make our own put drops of our own blood on them, all kinds of s**t, cause thats what it was s**t. look its been proven several times not least by Derren Brown that its all autonomous movement. Which is why when it "really works" for experienced mediums, they too are pushing the viewing piece by allowing the spirits energy into their own. This is why experienced mediums have no use for it. They communicate more easily than that archaic toy. The problem with it is not so much spiritual or supernatural but psychological. Some of my friends used to get freaked and talk crap, its amazing how two people see, hear and feel the same thing but how our minds allow us to experience them differently..
Study the subject fully if you really want to play with one, then all the crap that surrounds them will be just that, uneducated crap..

Doors are easily opened, but can be very hard to control and close again. There's a lot to take into consideration and to overlook something could become hazardous or even downright dangerous.
Please, do not use a Ouiji Board!
I am a Paranormal Investigater, you are looking for trouble if you do so.

yes i have used one and i have used it and the experiance that i had with it was amazing!for one thing i still got the board and still use it.what happened was,see,i am a witch and it was on halloween and i called the God of Hades on it to do the ritual.well,part of it.but anyway,i called Him on it and talked to Him through it and i just felt the power through it.i seen some things in my mind that made me wanna scream if i was not into witchcraft.like the Underworld?but calling the ruler of the Underworld is just a facinating thing to come to the ouija board.i dont know if anyone ever tried calling on a deity b4 but i say it probably has been done b4.the ouija board is still in my home and is still accepted in my home.i'm not afraid of it,and i will use it again when i need to.

Yes I have used it with my friends. It was all very serious and it worked. I am a 100% sure that no-one in the group was manipulating it, at least not consciously. Nothing bad happened, just some flickering of lights in the room.
I would not recommend it though, and I know that I will never re-do it, just because I got very, very frightened.
