I don't actuallly do it but I get the urge or a really sarcastic comment comes to my head.

Do I have an inferiority complex?

Don't fight the urge! Let it loose! There is nothing wrong with a silly answer as most questions are answered 10 times over. Silly is good - sarcasm should not be used as it never comes across nice ... especially to people that ask dumb questions! ;-)

I get the same urge at times.

In part I want to demonstrate their 'silliness' by being providing silly answers.

Some questions are written in a way where the tense is switched half way through ~ or it just does not make sense as to what they are asking.

Other questions I get the impression are a wind-up to maybe just see what floats to the surface.

Some are just so badly worded
Some are have no thought put into them
Some are just so care-less

that I get irritated and think something along the lines of this......

If you WANT someone to answer your question, then you ought to put some care into it.

If you want to be taken seriously, then you ought to show some self respect and respect to those reading you ~ as they will be spending their time reading you (which is after all what you want! No?), and therefore should supply some brain power to this effort.

If it is all 'care-lessly' done, then as the adage re PCs and their programming went........

''Garbage in, Garbage out.''

As for being something to do with an inferiority complex!!
Maybe it's the reverse, a 'Superiority Complex....!

Sash.

At times folks on here really ask some silly questions and you just want to voice your opinion - I haven't asked a question in this area for ages because searching for an answer (that has been asked before on this forum) is easy and you don't loose points - and the possibility of someone like myself, who will be sarcastic and silly - like me will answer me with sarcasm - yes, i admit it, I can dish it out, but tough to take.

I think as long as you do not insult them, degrade them, or worse do this in 'real' life infront of their faces, then heck - go for it.

It's probably for the same reason I do. People ask the most stupid questions at times and invite stupid answers. Most of the questions can be answered with 'Yes' or 'No' and this illicits a sarcastic response in the answerer to try and point out the futility of asking such stupid questions in the first place

I think its a type of dysphoria caused by the lack of inflection and/or emotion in the question as there is no person speaking just some text. I get the same.
Shamefully (on my part) I give in to the urge sometimes.

Maybe because you do not think of the implications of your answers to the person...They might just need a good advice you know and you wouldn't make them feel good if you're answer is silly...just write sarcastic/silly answers to people who ask silly questions, there are a lot...lol

Probably you just take life in a humorous way which is better than taking it too seriously. Some questions here are also making be very tempted to answer sarcastically but i try to avoid it.
