Each to their own....some men like it and some don't. Make up should enhance the way a woman looks....unless you are absolutely flawless then why should you need to wear makeup?.

Firstly, don't worry about what boys think of you or what they mind about you or anything because boys are stupid & don't mature for a veeeeeeeeeeery long time!
Secondly, these girls have a line around their faces because they haven't chosen the right shade of foundation which makes them look orange. If you want to apply make-up do some research & find the right shade first, an assistant at the beauty counter can help you.
If you've got nice skin I'd personally recommend you don't use foundation, maybe something light like tinted moisturiser. I started wearing foundation when my skin was ok but I noticed more & more blemishes & ended up putting it on every day & now I'm a slave to it!
Better to go without & not bother about what those boys think! Be happy with yourself.

This is from a girls point of view but I am personally not into the whole face mask of orange makeup look! I much prefer something natural with maybe a little tinted moisuriser but thats it! Some of these girls I see have make up plastered on their face for days on end and just keep adding layers! xx

Most of the men I know PREFER that a woman simply have a clean face instead of being caked with makeup. I agree - if a person doesn't know how to wear makeup properly, they should either learn how, or quit wearing it. Poorly-applied makeup is very obvious, and very artificial-looking. You might as well carry a sign that says "I'm trying to hide something."

It depends how shallow they are lol.
Unless your going out it's never really good to wear make up to thick, and if you know girls that have a line around thier face you should suggest they get tips on how to apply make up properly.
If you feel the need to wear make up go for a natural look during the day, minimal make up...that way you can look and feel more dressed up when you go out at night.

you shouldn't have any line around the face - it's the wrong colour. It should match your jaw/neck skin perfectly.
If you're young you can wear a tinted sheer moisturiser that will even out skin colour but look natural and healthy. - like Myleene on Celebrity Get Me out of Here. It acts as a sunscreen too preventing ageing of the skin.

You don't say how old you are, however if your complexion is good don't go clogging your pores up with makeup, stick to a little mascara and lip gloss - many boys nowadays are allergic to the cosmetics worn by their girlfriends anyway. Leave the make-up until you need to!

believe me, if anything makeup (beyond the normal maintanence) makes a girl more unattractive. Id say about 90% of guys dig girls with little to no makeup, assuming they can pull it off.

personally i think that any girl who has the confidence to wear what she wants, and ignore social standards is demonstrating that she is intelligent and independant. both traits found desirable by most men. my girlfriend only wears a little bit of eye liner to accent her dark eyes, and that to me is about as much makeup as a woman ever needs. (besides, no makeup means no tell tale smears on his face, or yours :P)

It's funny because men always say they prefer the natural look but then they go out with the girls who have foundation caked on.
