How do you defeat bongo bongo in Zelda ocarina of time?

I finally made it to the end of the Shadow Temple to Bongo Bongo but now I can't figure out how to beat him.. Can someone plz help me!

very simple, after you do all the things but have the boss fight here's what u gotta do equip the lens of truth so u can see bongo bongo's face then use your bow and shoot his hands then when he charges at you fire an arrow at his eye he will go down then hit him with your sword u can use the eye of truth and your bow at the same time make sure u have some fairies to revive u if u lose all your hearts then after u beat him grab the heart container and go into the light oh and upgrade your magic meter since the lens of truth will use up some serious magic and if u don't have that go to the bottom of the well dungeon to find it

Fall down the hole and you'll engage in the boss of the dungeon. Some people like to use the Iron Boots to prevent bouncing when Bongo Bongo starts drumming. I am indifferent, but hey, it might help you. First, shoot his hands. They will turn blue. Now get your Lens of Truth on and his invisible head will charge you. Charge up a Spin Attack and release it to hit his eye. He will be
stunned. Slash his eye and repeat. He is a pretty easy boss, but I'd use fairies in bottles.

You have to shoot him in his eye and then after a couple of shots he will fall down. Then go in and slash away. Repeat until you are able to take the monster down.
