the person who saves their first time for you must think a lot of you and feel that you have mutual respect, trust and love, you should consider that special. (not in all cases, some people just want to get it over and done with)
If you don't really love that person or have the trust and repect it would be a really crap experience. If we are talking about the women being the virgin then she is bound to find it painful/uncomfortable/difficult to relax because of nerves.
She/he may have expectations of it that would not be met. Could be awkward or even embarrassing.

The only opinion that matters is God's and here is what the Bible says:
1 Corinthians 7: 1,2 -- Now concerning the things whereof ye wrote unto me: It is good for a man not to touch a woman.
Nevertheless, to AVOID fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband.
Paul writes that marriage is by permission and not a commandment but READ verse 9 But if they cannot contain, let them marry: for it is better to marry than to burn.
This means you can abstain from sexual activity your whole life, if you choose to, but if you can't abstain from sexual activity you are to become husband and wife.

if you are not a virgin you can't change the fact that you've had sex before

nothing. They have no experience and it is some times unpleasant for them the first time. That makes for one bad evening if you ask me.

1. This is REALLY big, wait to you see others
