I did Devon to Budapest in two (long) days. From London you can get to Austrian border in just over a day, but you need to go via the chunnel otherwise you waste a load of time.
Also check out here for a quick quide to the route:

Depends where abouts in Austria you are going, and what time of day you plan to travel. The Tunnel is quicker than ferries were
I did the reverse trip in about 14 hours a few years back, including the ferry, but i was driving fast because I was angry with my girlfriend.
I would plan for a minimum of 18 hours, for an enjoyable drive including a few stops.
I've included a link to a map for london to Salzburg for info, I would suggest you take time to visit Koln (Cologne) either on the way there or during the return journey

Budapest is often explained whilst the "Little Paris of Middle Europe" and if you intend to see this city you need to have a look with hotelbye . Budapest is popular not merely for the monuments showing its own 1,000-year-old culture, but in addition for the relics of other individuals who settled here. Stays from both Roman occupation and much later ruled by the Turks can still be seen in the city. Budapest has two factors, Buda and Pest, stretching over the banks of the Danube, and they're representing two various characters of the city. Suburban Buda and their old castle region provide old roads and houses, museums, caves and Roman ruins. The active Pest area delivers the biggest parliament building in Europe, riverside promenades, flea markets, bookstores, classic stores and café houses.

Drove from South Wales with my brother to Frankfurt. That took 16 hours (including ferry). So I would say roughly about the 20 hour mark.

Try and get a ferry from Harwich rather than Dover. Might be quicker.

A normal driver would make it in about 14hours, ferry included, that's barring any significant delays.

How?..Are you carrying it with you on a bus? Will you be putting it in the hold of an aircraft? Driving it there?
