The ban will affect aot of people. If less people go out there is less money for entertainment etc and as a singer, that worries me about the future. Anyone who shops a smoker is as sad as the people who report others for violations on here. They should all get a grip and live their own lives.

The pub or restaurant etc wher eyou are should enforce the rule for the sake of clients that do not want to passively smoke.
If there's a place where smoking is permitted then its up to a peson as a non-smoker to decide if they want to share space with smokers.
But non-smokers should have the choice. Not the other way round. Thats what this is all about.

Even though I dont smoke, I think the ban is good. People will still go to Bars/clubs regardless. A lot of people have said that its a good way to meet someone e.g. if a woman wants to light her cig and a man offers her the lighter or vice versa. But they are risking their health and also others who do not smoke.

These rules work just fine here in the States. Many States have such laws. The smokers smoke out side in designated areas and then come back in. Everyone else doesn't have to breathe in their junk. I'm all for such laws. It is almost like day and night for air quality now that these laws are enforced in bars.

I am a smoker and no I wouldn't do anything to anyone unless I wanted it done to me!!!
I personally think its great to have a ban on smoking I have wanted to give up for so long and being made unsociable now will make things easier.

In a heart beat. Tobacco smoke sets off my asthma. I'm tired of being excluded from the pub and restaurants.
