A nucleotide consists of a sugar (either ribose or deoxyribose), nitrogenous bases (purine - adenine, guanine and pyrimidine - thymine, cytosine, uracil), and a phosphate group.
you can check wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nucleotide
If you're confused between nucleotide and nucleoside, well... nucleoside consists only of sugar and a nitrogenous base. nucleoside has no phosphate group. Only when the nucleoside is phosphorylated that it becomes a nucleotide.
If you're confused between nucleotide and nucleic acids, nucleic acid is a chain of nucleotides. DNA and RNA are the most common.

A nucleotide is a chemical compound that consists of a heterocyclic base, a sugar, and one or more phosphate groups. In the most common nucleotides the base is a derivative of purine or pyrimidine, and the sugar is the pentose (five-carbon sugar) deoxyribose or ribose. Nucleotides are the monomers of nucleic acids, with three or more bonding together in order to form a nucleic acid.
Nucleotides are the structural units of RNA, DNA, and several cofactors - CoA, FAD, FMN, NAD, and NADP. In the cell they play important roles in energy production, metabolism, and signaling.
