I have ford taurus 1993. after cold weather over night I was trying to start my car , but i could not , the engine does not start. my car was on uphill the gas was very low , but when i put one gallon of gas it still i can not start engine, can any one help me

Do you have a block heater? Older cars tend not to like cold weather very much in general, and it could be a case of the coolant just not warm enough to work. How much antifreeze do you have in your coolant, or just straight water?

Or what about your battery? If your battery is too low, there won't be enough juice for the starter to kick in.

If the fuel wasn't reaching the fuel line properly when you tried to start it first it might be that the fuel system has run dry. Try putting a little bit of easy-start in the air intake and cranking, once it catches keep the revs up and it'll draw the fuel through the system.

If you have any starting fluid , carburator cleaner or raw fuel. Take air cleaner out and spray down port 2 seconds. If it don't stay running you need more fuel or level your car.

try some new sparkplugs

is it turning over? if not then battery is weaker in cold so u need a new one
