OK, I know the likelihood that those of us who were on these flights got infected is very low, but IF we were infected with polonium, what should we do as treatment? Is there actually anything we can do about it? Please answer if you know for sure.

some kinds of herbal cleansing remedies can be quite effective......but you'd have to research that on your own.

if you ever get poisoned they truly can work to flush out your liver etc

The passengers in those flights are not in danger. They're trying to track down where that polonium came from by asking people who might have seen unusual things or suspects. So this is not warning about health hazard, but detective work. They would have put out warnings and health help hot line if they found dangerous amount of polonium in flights. Again they found traces, not hazardous materials that can actually hurt people.

This is not something that 'infect' people. You have to actually get polonium in you in order for you to see effect. 'Traces' isn't enough for this.

You can't be "infected" by it, it's not a virus or a bacterium. It's a chemical element that emits radiation. However unlike other radioactive elements it emits ALPHA radiation - which can't travel very far and is can't travel through walls etc. There's absolutely no risk to anyone who was travelling on those planes, I just wish the government would come out and say it straight, rather than using it to heighten the sense of fear in the public.

If you have injected polonium, I fear it is to late, since you have the radioactivity in you
