A douche is a device used to introduce a stream of water into the body for medical or hygienic reasons, or the stream of water itself. The word comes from the French language, in which its principal meaning is a shower (it is thus a notorious false friend encountered by non-native speakers of English). The word can refer to the rinsing of any body cavity but usually applies to the vagina. A douche bag is a piece of equipment for douching: a bag for holding the water or fluid used in douching (the term douche bag can also be used as an insult; see below for slang uses). To avoid transferring intestinal bacteria into the vagina the douche bag must not be used for an enema.

I'm not sure of the exact origin of the word, but I know that it's French for "shower". But a douche is a device that's used to cleanse a body cavity for hygienic or medical reasons. It can refer to any body cavity, but more than likely refers to the vaginal cavity. Many women douche to rid themselves of smell, women who want to have sex during their period or and some use it as a form of birth control. It's not recommended that you use a douche as the vagina is self cleaning and douching can interfere with the helpful bacterial cultures that exist in the vagina. Also, it can spread or even start infections. Using it as a form of birth control is a bad idea as it actually increases your chances of becoming pregnant by in effect, giving the sperm a ride.

It is a performed for cleaning and for medical reasons. A stream of water is "made to flow" at any part of the body or any body cavity, often into the vagina, through a small tube or channel. This will wash away dirt and other unwanted secretions or substances.

it means to clean inside.
so it means to clean the inside of your vagina with a product, usually a soloution of water and vinegar.
this is really bad for you so don't do it, it will change your ph balance and can cause thrush etc...
only do it if your doctor tells you to.
people douche to get rid of smells and to feel clean but the vagina cleanses itself anyway.
hope this helps

Hungarian - thick
French - shower
English - rinse
If you take the English and see female products with this word on, use those only under the direction of the doctor. Use of these products can upset the delicate balance of life (electrolytes, bacteria, etc) and cause trouble.

It is a device used to introduce a stream of water into the body for medical or hygienic reasons, or the stream of water itself. The term is most commonly used in reference to cleansing of the female urinary/vaginal area/parts.
It is also considered a derogatory slang.
