Another lcd question please help.?

Question

You said that lcd is for flat screen. This may be an ignorant question to you, but there are not stupid questions. Would they work on flat screen computers? Do not laugh, I am just a poor old granny. Ok, not that old.

In 1997, however, several manufacturers began offering full-size LCD monitors as alternatives to CRT monitors. The main advantage of LCD displays is that they take up less desk space and are lighter. Currently, however, they are also much more expensive.

If I understand what you are asking correctly, no, you cannot hook a flat screen LCD to a dvd player. The hook-ups are not the same. There are flat screens specifically for computers, and specifically for TVs. And actually, computers will run flatscreens no matter what (as long as your flatscreen has the VGA (which is usually the computer standard)hook up). There is no "flat screen computer" per se.
