Even though they are young, Rooney, Ronaldo (C), Fabregas, Messi etc are fairly well known and established, so I'm going with Walcott. He is showing a great deal of promise and maturity.

Yes up and coming , think rooney ronaldo messi have all be heard of somehow.....Richards is a good shout, theres a few Joey Barton starting to show his potential, young players coming through leighton baines at wigan, james vaughan and victor anichebe at everton should be watched,

I think Lukas Podolski is the best emerging player of the year. He has done remarkablke well in the World Cup and I bet he wilkl be a force to reckon in the future.
