Ok, I sure do not get out much. E-Bay has a lot of t.v. games that are plug=in (or something like that). I want to buy one but do not know if I need more than the t.v. to be able to play games and what are they? Will my grandchildren like them?

What would probably work for you is a plug-n-play game. It's a joystick that plugs right into the tv. The games are loaded inside of the controller. They are several out there and they cost about $20 or so. I baby sit for childern 7 & 8, they love them.

They are usually just little joysticks or controlers with the hardware for the games inside them. They hook up via rca cables (always included) to your tv, and do not need anything else besides a working tv with an open rca slot. The graphics on them are genreally crappy unless they are based on old games and systems like the Namco plug in game. Your grandchildren will probably enjoy them if they either A: Have no other game systems or B: are old enough to be nostalgic about the older game systems (they would have to be 20+ years old) If they have another game system, I would just buy a game for that system. Action games are usually a good bet, depending on their ages.

No, plugin games are like what the old Ataris were like (except without the catridges.). You plug the feeds into the TV, and the part that comes with it (it comes in so many shapes and sizes it's hard to generalize) stores the game inside. So you just plug it into your tv, turn it on, and play! Your grandchildren will probably love them!

watch what you get-some have bad evil graphics some just have junkie graphics-you can go on line at yahoo to games and see videos on different games to pick

plug in means they dont run on computer or a video game system-they are their own system-usually very poor quality-find out it they have a game system sony play station 2 very few 3's are out going for 4-6 hundred but selling for over 2,000 due to insuficient selling stratagy-on e bay-and x box and several other systems nintendo and etc.
