I bought 1 online from hong kong.....i'm in Ireland. Didnt think about it 'til a friend said all imports checked at customs and taxes/duty charged to recipient-wondering if its worth it?

I think that If it is from Hong Kong it want be stopped at customs.
(If I am wrong they will stop it only if the package has written on it the price of the item.
That means that they will add something like +20% or 25% on the price.(VAT included)
Next time ask from the seller not to write the price of the item outside of the package. (or chose gift wrap)
