It depends how fashionable you want them. Zara do some really fashionable and resonably priced ones but they are a very specific type of fit. Gap is good quality and will last you. Also try some big department stores like Debenhams or House of Fraser, they have some really good ranges like Linea and Rocha John Rocha, which are fashionable and designed for men from 25 - 45. Also the have large ranges so you should be able to find a style and fit that suits you the best. Also if you can put up with the logo, Timberland clothes are some of the best quality you can find on the highstreet.

Primark do mens black t shirts my sister buys these for work and there ok and they only cost £1.50 so if they do go out of shape then there cheap enough to buy again. Fruit of the loom ceased trading but there are some places that still have a few.

if you can find black... I have used hanes or fruit of the loom for years with wonderful results... the colors stay true and they never shrink after washing..

I agree with Mintee, Fruit of the Loom are excellent. Neither are they too expensive.
