I used to be a cook, so I know that in cooking with wine the alcohol is cooked out. The wine is just for flavor. If you are making it at home you can always get alcohol free, but I think you can relax and use whatever you want because any alcohol in it will evaporate quickly in the cooking process.

I was told that red wine is good for you while you are pregnant as long as you don't consume too much. They say a glass of wine a week is pretty healthy and shouldn't affect the baby. However I am not a doctor and you doubt eating it you probably shouldn't do it or maybe this is something you should bring up at your next doctor visit.

If you meaning your 20 weeks pregnant and you want to eat something containing a wine sauce. Technically you can, but If I was you, I would play it safe. If the wine is cooked, most if not all of the alcohol is cooked out. I'm sure its safe, I'm just neurotic.

Once the wine has been cooked, the alcohol evaporates. It is ok to eat any wine sauce dish as long as the alcohol was cooked in it and not added after cooking.

A little will be fine, but a lot can deform an unborn baby. You shouldn't worry about it unless you are having it everyday.
