For example, some images shown are indicated as "image may be copyright"? Is the usage free, especially for printing?

Most art images, including photography, are copyrighted by the artist and may NOT be reproduced, even in part, in any manner without their permission. This applies to any images you may find on the web, in a book or calendar, poster or greeting card, etc.

If you're using the material for a school project it's permissible, but using another artist's work for the purpose of making a profit, you run the risk of breaking the law.

Only images on certain pay-per-image sites are not copyrighted, however you must pay to use them.
