I take it you haven't actually got a bike yet? The best way is to just get on one. I can't really explain how to ride one without showing you! I was taught by my brother when I was 5 years old so it's something that's just natural to me. Don't you know anyone that has one that can go through it with you?

Do what everyone has suggested but bear in mind that your CBT instructor will be used to teaching people from scratch so don't worry too much about it. The training starts off very basic. They even tell you how to get it on and off the stand.

Check out http://www.motorcyclegiftshop.com/ for some good basic information on riding.

I wouldn't rely totally on the site though. The best way to learn is through the Motorcycle Safety Foundation ( http://www.msf-usa.org )

After you read Stu's "How to ride a motorcycle", watch this video There are related videos on that page. Good luck with your test.

If it won't down load, search for "how to ride a motorcycle for the very first time"
