He's 23 and I'm 22, we've been dating/living together for 2 years. Over this past summer he wanted to break up w/me for 2 days bc I "wouldn't support him" if he moved for a career (at a summer camp). He left a few days later to work temporary as a fill-in at a camp where he had many gf's growing up. I told him yes though, I would drop school and move with him.
The entire time he was there he talked about buying my engagement ring and what it should be like, but now.. months later he does not remember it at all. Although, a few weeks ago he remembered it bc he said "oh yeah, I was going to buy it w/$ from camp.. but I bought an xbox" and laughed about it.
I have also found girl clothes/things in his car that are not mine.
What'd ya think?

The girlie things in the car may be nothing, his friends borrowed his car a lot over the summer.

As you said, the clothes could be one of his mates' partners. I think though if he was talking about engagement and now he's "forgotten" about it that he's not taking this relationship seriously. Maybe the clothes in the car are to make you angry so that you dump him?... I think you and him need to have 'the relationship' talk - where are we going? Where do you see us in 1, 2, 5 years time?

Yes I would be suspicious - why are you living together if he considers an xbox more important than you. Dont stick around to let him use you because he promises a ring. Have you asked him about the stuff in the car? Is his reason pausible? Where there is smoke there is always a fire

I would definitely be suspicious gurl! I went through the same thing with my high school sweetheart. He was GOOD at lying about it too. Don't make the same mistake by staying with him until he hurts you worse. Gather your heart, your pride and your feminism and do what you know you should in your heart. ;-)

Sounds a little suspicious...just keep an eye on him for now...if you find more things happening that are suspicious I'd bring it up with him. Good luck!

he most probably is cheating u. he might just want u to hang out also till he find sumone else permanently. keep a close watch n if ur fear cumes out to be true, run lady. sumone who really luves u might be waiting for u.
