Put your trousers into a bag and place into the freezer, probably for a good 24 hours so the gum is frozen solid.
The gum becomes brittle and will come away from your trousers by pciking at it. When all is removed wash as normal.

Freeze it! You could put the trousers in the freezer, when you take them out, the gum should be brittle and easier to remove. If you can't put them in the freezer, hold icecubes on the gum until it becomes hard and brittle. Alternatively, I think Stain Devils make a chewing gum remover - you can get it in most supermarkets.

Put your trousers in the freezer for a few hours - then get a knife and scrape a bit of the gum off. It'll start to go sticky again under the friction so put the trousers back in the freezer before having another go. Eventually you'll get it off.

Presuming its a piece of chewed gum and not still in its wrapper, put the trousers in the freezer - yes really - when the gum freezers you can rub it off with your thumb wrapped in a flannel and peel away the trousers. No chemicals needed and trousers will wash well afterwards.

you have to first put them in the freezer for about half an hour until the gum is frozen. Then you have to peel it off carefully and then if there is any left over, you could use a chewing gum remover spray. you can get them from shops such as B&Q and other hgardware shops. After, give them a quick wash in the washing machine and they should be fine.
