I think the Simpsons has gotten steadily worse since about season eight. Every, single, joke now has got to be rammed full with the writers' political "wit". The show has tipped over on it's south-paw and can't seem to right itself. Remember the good old days of just funny? Both of Homer's arms stuck in vending machines so he can't go to the ballet:

"Homer, this is never easy to say but, we're going to have to saw your arms off."

"They'll grow back though, right?"

"Uh, yeah."

"Whew."

It would be nice if the show stopped writing agenda "jokes" and made with the funny. So no, I don't think it's just you. Sorry, I get worked up about the important things in my life, like cartoons, and the thread count of my bedsheets, my haircut.

hoo-yeah---- at least that 70's show quit while it was ahead and took the dive with that 80's show I'm sticking with king of the hill for now-most people say its boring including me at first but at least your not going to see an episode like in the simpsons where they went to England and the second they get there they happen to meet Blair, J.K Rowling and Ian Mc (Gandalf) for three really cheesy jokes. Simpsona does have many Legendary jokes dont get me wrong but over the years it got too watered down...

Legally and age-sensible he's technically an "grownup," yet no longer in mind-set or habit! Your call is ideal! Do you easily believe that him chiding you the way he has or reprimanding you once you "do something incorrect," is treating you with the respect you deserve? i'll guarantee you that the respond to that query is a convincing, "Heck no!" You deserve better ideal than the way that he's treating you. purely because he's eighteen and also you're 17 (as if that is sooo a lot youthful than he's,) does no longer advise that you may want to be dealt with like a baby! you're a teenage lady for God's sake! i might want to confront him about it and tell him that he's in straight forward words a 12 months your senior. Remind him that very quickly in the close to destiny YOU, certain YOU, will be an grownup and 18. also, enable him recognize that a relationship might want to be MUTUAL. that signifies that there might want to be a MUTUAL respect between 2 human beings, no longer one which is a jerk and the authoriy and one which is the inferior "baby." Then he can not deal with you or belittle you or reprimand you as a figure might want to a misbehaving baby. If he doesn't pay interest to you or ditch his pompous and immature mind-set, I say....promote off HIM. promote off him and go away skid marks in the driveway! purely imagine about it this way for a second: If he's this controlling and nasty once you're courting, imagine how he might want to be if (Lord forbid) you MARRIED him in some unspecified time sooner or later?! He might want to be telling you what to do, the thanks to gown, the thanks to do your hair, who you may want to communicate to, who you may want to no longer...... really, he might want to be operating your total existence. you're properly worth better than the way he's treating you. bypass accessible and stick it to the guy!!!

It is definetely starting to fade.
Will it do the ultimate "jump the shark" taboo and introduce a new regular character?
If it does, you know the end is not too far away!
