I'm nineteen years old and i had a classmate whom im so fond of. I have always envied his entire self almost. his famous among the girls in the campus and everybody in our year level in Nursing are talking about him. I have been curious about this boy for almost a year now. Coincedentally last year without expecting we became classmates. And more surprisingly, we became seatmates. the person whom i only hear in gossips and chikas outside and inside the university that i studied became my SEATMATE! but he was kinda SILENT type. those type that doesn't care bein talked by or to talk to people. somehow i was able to establish some rapport with this boy until the semester ended last year but we still seemed strangers today. eventhough when we meet on street or along the passageway we would be nudding at each other "his" and "Hellos"as boys do. but we weren't close to each other. how do i make friend with this boy? how should i get close to him to make him to be a close friend? please help

~You can't MAKE anyone like you. If you wanted to be friends, you should have talked to him like friends do, to get to know each other.
Why should he talk to you on the streets if you didn't talk to him while you sat next to him in class?
I think you missed your chance, you are just too shy.~

You might try being a little more forward. Ask him if he wants to study together, or if he wants to see a TV show with you, something very simple to start with. You can't "make" somebody like you, but you could position yourself to be appreciated by them. You might also make some inquire about his love life... you also can't make somebody suddenly change their sexual orientation, either, so you might want to get a better idea on that side, too. Ask him his opinion of some movie star (male or female) or ask him if he has a girlfriend, and give him some hints about your own preferences. Good Luck!

Be fearless expressing who this person is to you. Simply tell him who you are to me is ..........i.e. a person whom is respected, admired, generous etc. You should know what he is to you. After you tell him this simply say because of who you are to me, you would like to create a possibility of renewed friendship. He can respond yes, no or counter offer you. If yes, tell him you are going to be repsonsible for making the possibility of friendship happen and then do it. If no, then just get that. No. If he counter offers, listen and commit or not.

just be youself, and if he likes you then thats his gain, but if he doesnt, then its his loss!!
dont try too hard, you only seem desperate then. If he wants to be your friend he will make an effort to speak to you when your speaking to him, rather than just saying hello!!
