I'm thinking of the human (and some other animals) inability to manufacture vitamin C internally due to a gene mutation.

Well, goats make plenty of vitamin C for themselves. So, are you kidding? Hehe. Of course, if you were to insert a few goat genes into yourself...Naw. You wouldn't want to be a goat, would you? Just eat the vitamin C, and be glad God made such a variety of foods with it, just for you.

Don't recall ever hearing about humans producing vitamin C.
Humans do produce vitamin D in their skin when exposed to sunlight (that's why vitamin D is called the "sunshine vitamin").

scientifically proved.

those that work in the orange and grape farm....they planted it so yes you can say they make their own ...
