We both are Catholic.
We both have fought against Imperialism.
We both immigrated to a country that hated us.
We both place family above everything else.
We both are fond of a good Draught/Cerveza.
We both fought side by side against US Imperialism.
Similarities endless...
I think the next logical step is to reach out to one another and embrace each other as brothers of the one and true Church.

Look it up. St. Patricks Battalion. It was a group of several hundred European Catholics that fought with Mexico in the NorthAmerican Invasion you call the Mexican-American War.

Ya.. irish and mexicans had had similar past.. they we both 2nd class citizens and are culturaly similar ( were called lazy ( as laid back) , haVE LOTS OF CHILDREN, drink a lot and are friendly caring people who have a sense of cummunity)
But now Ireland is the 2nd richest country in the world ( per person) and mexico is still relatively poor.. Irish have moved on from their "poor oppressd past". I hope mexico can one day be a successfull country too...
IF you are a R.catholic the one true church does include other branches of the christain religion by the way ( aposotles creed)..

I think no.
1. Mexicans had been imperialism .....don´t you remember the Aztec Empire......
2. The fought against imperialis , but no becaure the mipire but them freedom.
3. Do you realy think all the Irish and Mexicans hate USA?
4. In Mexico they care of them famili as much as latins
5.They may like good Draught/Cerveza both.

you can not claimed your self to be a member of the true church. how come you say that you belong to a true church when you as a catholic kneel down to staatue made of wood or stone as your god. catjholics even claimed that virgin mary is GOD and you pray more to mary that the supposed living GOD. god of catholics are statue or printed picture of your god while in truth nobody have seen GOD to have his picture
